
R&B icons Brandy and Monica announced their first-ever co-headlining tour together on CBS Mornings on Tuesday. Fans have been begging for a tour to in honor of their 1998 hit song “The Boy is Mine.”
The Grammy-winning R&B duo announced their tour on “CBS Mornings” on Tuesday, June 24.
“They were trying to get us to do a tour since ’98 and it just finally felt like the right time,” Brandy said. “It was a dream come true.”

Monica called her partnership with Brandy a “musical marriage.”
“We created the communication and the relationship to do it,” she said.
Monica commented on the rumors of tension between the two singers.
“There was a lot of confusion and conflict and there was a lot of people around,” she said. “We don’t even like the same type of boy… there could never have been a boy,” said Monica.
The 24-city arena tour kicks off on Oct. 16 in Cincinnati and concludes on Dec. 7 in Houston.
