Former Trump senior adviser Stephen Miller says more than 1 million illegal immigrants have already self-deported under mounting pressure — and he’s now warning those who remain: leave now or face serious consequences.
In a new statement, Miller laid out a stark ultimatum, detailing what awaits illegal immigrants who refuse to self-deport:
- Sudden Arrest
- Sudden Deportation
- Wage Garnishment
- Property Confiscation
- Incarceration
- Prosecution for Immigration and Other Crimes
“If you choose to self-deport, you can go back home. You have the opportunity to apply for legal entry if you wish to in the future — and you are going to get a $1,000 check on your way out,” Miller said.
The growing number of self-deportations follows increased federal cooperation with state and local enforcement, expanded workplace audits, and the revival of policies that prioritize rapid removals.
“The choice is obvious: Self-deport and leave on your own terms — or stay and face the consequences,” Miller added.
While critics have blasted the approach as inhumane and extreme, Miller and others in Trump’s circle argue that firm enforcement is necessary to restore sovereignty, protect American workers, and uphold the rule of law.
