The Trump White House has launched a new webpage aimed at calling out what it describes as false or misleading reporting by major media outlets. The site features several sections dedicated to tracking and ranking news organizations and specific stories the administration considers inaccurate.
One of the main features is a “Leaderboard,” which labels the competition as “a race to the bottom.” According to the new page, The Washington Post currently sits at the bottom of the ranking, described as the worst offender by a wide margin.
The website also includes an “Offender Hall of Shame,” presented as a running record of stories that the White House says contain false or misleading information. Visitors are prompted to browse through the listed claims under the heading, “Scroll for the Truth.”
Another section, titled “Media Offender of the Week,” highlights a specific outlet or report the administration is targeting at that moment.
The move marks one of the most direct efforts yet by the Trump administration to publicly track and respond to news coverage it disputes, further escalating longstanding tensions between the White House and major national media organizations.
