Xavier Becerra tried to blame President Trump for California’s crushing cost of living during the Democrat gubernatorial debate.“Let’s focus on who’s raising the cost of living in California the most and that’s Donald Trump,” Becerra claimed. “The price of gas has gone up one two dollars because of Donald Trump and his war in Iraq. The price of goods groceries have gone up in California because of Donald Trump’s illegal tariffs.”Antonio Villaraigosa shut it down on the spot: “That is not true. We had the highest gas prices on average over two dollars than the rest of the nation for a very long time.”
