A San Antonio man is facing felony charges for allegedly threatening the life of Turning Point USA President Erika Kirk and her associates.
Jacob Wenske, 26, was arrested by San Antonio police on Wednesday and faces two counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear of serious bodily injury, a third-degree felony. Court records indicate that his total bond was set at $120,000.
The charges stem from online comments and an email attributed to Wenske in connection with Turning Point USA’s (TPUSA) Women’s Leadership Summit, scheduled for June 5-7, 2026, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk. Erika Kirk, CEO of TPUSA and widow of the organization’s late founder Charlie Kirk, is a featured speaker at the event.
According to arrest affidavits and warrants detailed in multiple reports, the investigation began after a local newspaper published a Facebook post promoting the summit. Wenske allegedly replied to that post with the statement, “I know exactly where to bomb.”
In a separate comment in the same thread, he wrote: “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort,” prosecutors said.
Investigators noted that Wenske had previously worked for a parking management company providing valet services for hotels and events, which led them to view the comments as credible rather than ambiguous. Further review of his Facebook activity reportedly showed “ongoing violent hostility toward Turning Point-affiliated persons and supporters, including death-approval statements, encouragement of harm toward ideological opponents, and repeated hostile engagement across multiple public threads.”
Authorities linked the comments to Wenske through subscriber information, registered email addresses, telephone numbers, and IP address data. An additional threat was identified in an email sent on January 26, 2026, from an account registered to Wenske and directed to Turning Point USA.
“Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” that email read.
These threats reportedly prompted heightened security measures for the San Antonio event, including additional uniformed officers, private security personnel, and bomb-sniffing dogs.
“The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures enforced by both private security and local police,” TPUSA spokesman Matt Shupe told Fox News.
