Dan Bongino unloaded on Tucker Carlson during a fiery monologue, escalating what appears to be an increasingly public feud between two of the most influential voices in conservative media.
The former FBI deputy director spent much of the segment attacking Carlson and his associates over the ongoing controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files, accusing the former Fox News host of spreading misinformation and intentionally sowing division within the conservative movement.
Bongino’s sharpest criticism was directed at Tucker Carlson’s brother, Buckley Carlson, who recently mocked him on social media. The former Secret Service agent responded with a profanity-laced tirade, calling Buckley “another one. A little Nepo baby bum” before asking, “What does he do exactly?”
He added that “their daddy’s probably looking down in disgrace that they spawned these two losers.”
The feud comes amid growing divisions within the MAGA movement over the Epstein files, foreign policy, and criticism of the Trump administration. Carlson had previously defended Bongino during earlier controversies surrounding the Epstein case, saying he had been “completely shafted” by the situation. More recently, however, Bongino has become increasingly critical of what he describes as the “black piller” wing of the right, a faction that includes figures who have aligned themselves with Carlson’s worldview.
During the monologue, Bongino accused Carlson of repeatedly contradicting himself on major issues and aired a compilation video highlighting what he viewed as inconsistencies in the commentator’s public statements.
“Tucker’s just making this up because he just needs, again, Tucker wants to make sure… that maximum chaos results,” Bongino said. “You only have to debate yourself when you don’t remember your own lies.”

Bongino also took aim at Carlson’s upbringing while contrasting it with his own career in law enforcement and government service.
“Unlike Tucker, I actually did stuff. Like, did stuff. Actual stuff,” Bongino said. “I didn’t see him volunteering for anything. I didn’t see him want to give up his show and walk away from all that for a government salary.”
The former FBI official went on to describe his background, saying, “My father was a plumber. My mother worked in a supermarket. I worked in a cemetery cleaning mausoleums. I was a New York City cop, a Secret Service agent, and went and ran the FBI for the past year.” He then added, “I never had some Nepo baby connections.”
A significant portion of the rant focused on allegations that Bongino had somehow participated in efforts to suppress information related to Epstein. Bongino rejected those claims and argued that he had consistently pushed for transparency.
“Tucker just wants to cause a dangerous situation for me and others,” Bongino said. Later in the segment, he accused Carlson of falsely portraying him as part of an elite network protecting powerful interests.
“Painting me as part of some elite class of people covering up this thing when I was resolutely focused on it and tasked hundreds of guys to this case to go through everything on it, you’re just doing it because either you want me to get hurt or you want other people to get hurt too.”
While Bongino and Carlson were once viewed as close allies, the latest exchange suggests the divide between the two camps has become increasingly personal and public.
