VIDEO: Trump Humiliates MSNOW Reporter In Hilarious Oval Office Roast: ‘The Worst People’

President Donald Trump delivered another memorable exchange with a reporter Monday, using an Oval Office press availability to take aim at MSNBC’s recently rebranded “MSNOW” while drawing laughs from those in the room.

The moment began when a reporter identified himself as being with “MSNOW” before asking a question. Trump immediately interrupted to ask, “You who?”

When the reporter repeated that he was with “MSNOW,” Trump wasted no time firing back.

“MSNOW? What a terrible show,” Trump said. “They have the worst people in that show.”

The exchange prompted laughter before Trump encouraged the reporter to continue with his question. But the president wasn’t finished.

“MSNOW. That’s the failed MSDNC, right?” Trump joked, reviving one of his longtime nicknames for the left-leaning network. “They failed. They gave it a new name.”

“You know why?” he continued. “Because nobody watched it. And fewer people are watching it now.”

MSNBC officially rebranded as MS NOW after Comcast spun off the network into its new media company, Versant, ending its long-standing connection to NBCUniversal. The name change, which took effect in late 2025, was part of an effort to establish an independent identity while retaining brand recognition with viewers.

The network also introduced new logos, graphics and a marketing campaign centered on the slogan, “Same mission. New name.” Despite the rebrand, the channel continues to feature many of the same hosts and programming, with executives describing the change as a corporate restructuring rather than a shift in editorial direction.

Trump has long criticized MSNBC, frequently referring to it as “MSDNC” to suggest it acts as an arm of the Democratic Party. Throughout both of his presidential terms, he has regularly sparred with reporters from the network during press conferences and media availabilities.

The president has often used exchanges with reporters to deliver sharp one-liners that quickly spread across social media, particularly when responding to journalists from outlets he has accused of unfair coverage.
