Fox News personality Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, known as “Kennedy” to her audience, tied the knot with fiancé Fred Berman in a picturesque ceremony in Hawaii on Monday, marking a new chapter nearly a year after surprising viewers with news of her engagement.
Kennedy confirmed the wedding herself by sharing photos from the ceremony on Instagram, writing, “Married the love of my life,” alongside images of the couple celebrating at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.
The ceremony took place outdoors overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the bride wearing a white wedding gown while Berman opted for a light blue suit. The photos also showed the newlyweds smiling during the ceremony and posing together against the island backdrop.
The marriage comes months after Kennedy revealed on Fox’s The Five that she had gotten engaged to Berman, catching many of her co-hosts by surprise. During the announcement, Dana Perino became emotional as she congratulated her longtime friend.
“Marrying him is an absolute dream come true. An incredible man, a magical day, and love and memories I will carry with me forever. Fun fact: there were 5 engaged couples at our wedding!” Kennedy wrote on X.
“As my husband said at the rehearsal dinner, the state of the marital union is strong. Here’s to love!”
Kennedy, 53, kept much of the relationship out of the spotlight before the engagement, describing Berman as someone who unexpectedly entered her life and “changed” it. Unlike the outspoken television personality, Berman has largely stayed out of the public eye.
The wedding marks Kennedy’s second marriage. She was previously married to former professional snowboarder Dave Lee, with whom she shares two daughters.
Known for her libertarian views and quick wit, Kennedy first rose to fame as an MTV VJ in the 1990s before transitioning into political commentary. She has since become one of Fox News’ most recognizable personalities, appearing regularly on The Five, Outnumbered, and her own Fox Business program, Kennedy.
