Reality TV star Jake Hall, best known for appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, has died in Spain at the age of 35.
Hall suffered fatal head injuries after smashing through glass doors during an accident at a villa in Majorca, according to a report by the New York Post.
A spokesperson for the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office confirmed the death to BBC News, saying: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.” Officials later confirmed the man was Hall.
Spain’s Civil Guard said it has launched an investigation into the incident, adding it “appears to be an accidental death.”

Hall, who joined the long-running ITV reality series in 2015, also worked as a model and fashion designer. He was previously in a relationship with co-star Chloe Lewis.
In a statement, The Only Way Is Essex paid tribute to the late star: “Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”
His death marks the second loss tied to the show this year. In March, fellow cast member Jordan Wright was found dead in Thailand. Local reports said his body was discovered in a concrete drainage system on the island of Phuket.
Hall is survived by his daughter. Her mother is Missé Beqiri, known for appearances on Ladies of London and The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
