Beloved GOP Senator Exposes Fox News, Reveals Network’s Refusal To Publish Op-Ed

Despite leading an investigation into alleged efforts by federal officials to downplay COVID-19 vaccine injuries and deaths, Sen. Ron Johnson says he’s running into resistance from much of the media — including Fox Digital — as he tries to publicize his findings.

The Wisconsin Republican revealed Wednesday that he had published an op-ed on X accusing federal health agencies of concealing vaccine safety concerns from the public and claiming nearly 40,000 deaths have been reported following COVID-19 vaccinations.

Johnson, who chairs the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, later posted the piece on his Senate website under the headline, “The story the media — and the government — don’t want you to hear.”

In the article, Johnson argues that federal health officials were aware of significant safety concerns in 2021 but failed to alert Americans.

“The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA TODAY, and Fox Digital have all declined or ignored requests to publish this op-ed,” Johnson writes.

The senator also released a Majority Staff Interim Report from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations that alleges Biden administration health officials ignored warning signs tied to the vaccines. The report cites cases of “‘Death and sudden death’ associated with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.”

Fox News covered Johnson’s report on May 3, but as of the time of publication, had not published his follow-up opinion piece.

Johnson said NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, and MS NOW also declined to cover the report.

Fox News Media, Johnson’s office, and the Department of Health and Human Services did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Johnson’s op-ed also focuses on Peter Marks, the former head of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, which oversees vaccine approvals and safety monitoring.

According to Johnson, Marks was informed that an algorithm used to analyze data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System could “mask” adverse events. Johnson alleges officials at the center received data for more than three months indicating potential vaccine-related dangers.

Rather than warning the public, Johnson claims, “they ordered the data analyst to ‘cease and desist’ and then lied to the American public that ‘they weren’t seeing safety signals.’”

“I consider this to be the biggest government scandal in my lifetime, and one that is crying out for full media attention and coverage,” Johnson writes in the op-ed. “Currently, VAERS shows 1,676,100 cumulative worldwide adverse events and 39,099 deaths associated with the COVID-19 injection, with 9,332 (24%) of the deaths occurring within 2 days of injection.”
