Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff dragged a female White House aide into his attacks on President Donald Trump, using a crude insinuation unsupported by any evidence as he fights to keep his seat in November.
The Democrat and potential 2028 presidential contender targeted Natalie Harp, Trump’s executive assistant, during a Sunday campaign rally in Atlanta.
“While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings, he golfs, and trades stocks,” Ossoff said.
He then turned his fire on Harp.
“He doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar,” Ossoff said.
The line drew cheers from the Democratic crowd and attention on X, where commenters zeroed in on Ossoff’s decision to invoke Harp by her first name.
The attack carried an unmistakably personal undertone, appearing to suggest something improper between Trump and a woman who works closely with him. Ossoff offered no evidence of any inappropriate relationship.
It was a low blow that reduced a female White House staffer to a prop in a male politician’s campaign speech, all so Ossoff could land a cheap shot against the president.

Trump responded Monday in the Oval Office, comparing Ossoff to Pee-wee Herman. Asked by CNN’s Kristen Holmes about the senator’s remarks, Trump said he would “much rather do other things.”
The president also defended the White House construction project mocked by Ossoff, saying he was “building a great facility” that would be “much more than a ballroom.”
Trump’s communications team delivered a harsh response.
“Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics. Instead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country,” White House communications director Steven Cheung posted Monday.
White House spokesman Davis Ingle called Ossoff a “cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama,” and a “lightweight loser.”

The furious pushback signals that the White House is watching Jon Ossoff closely as he campaigns for a second term in one of the country’s most competitive political states.
Ossoff has sought to position the midterm elections as a referendum on corruption, rising costs and American leadership abroad. His growing national profile has also fueled speculation about a possible presidential campaign in 2028.
Republican Rep. Mike Collins, a close Trump ally endorsed by the president, is challenging Ossoff in November.
A June Fox News poll placed Ossoff 13 points ahead of Collins among registered Georgia voters. Strategists in both parties expect the contest to tighten as Election Day approaches.
Ossoff’s decision to target Harp could also give Trump another reason to direct political resources toward Collins.
