Jessica Tarlov Steps Away From ‘The Five’ After Trump’s Brutal Insult

Fox News liberal Jessica Tarlov stepped away from “The Five” for a tropical getaway after President Donald Trump unloaded on her in a blistering Truth Social post.

Tarlov, 42, shared photos over the weekend from Lanai, Hawaii, where she was attending a friend’s wedding with her husband, hedge fund executive Brian McKenna.

The break came shortly after Trump publicly ripped the Democratic strategist while she was appearing on Fox News.

“I can’t stand Jessica Tarlov of THE FIVE,” Trump wrote in a short Truth Social post. “A real loser!”

Trump’s attack came after Tarlov argued during an episode of “The Five” that tougher gun-control laws could potentially prevent future mass shootings.

Tarlov acknowledged that no policy could eliminate every act of violence.

“You will never be able to stop all of the lunatics,” Tarlov added.

Trump has repeatedly clashed with Tarlov over her liberal commentary, making her one of the Fox personalities he has most openly criticized despite the network’s otherwise strong lineup of conservative voices.

Tarlov has also recently found herself in heated on-air exchanges with co-host Greg Gutfeld, including one debate that left the two talking over each other as tensions flared.

Her latest time away from the show, however, appears to be personal rather than permanent.

On Instagram, Tarlov posted several photos with McKenna from the Hawaiian island, looking far removed from the political sparring and cable-news chaos back home.

In one image, she wore a green-and-white striped midi dress with a banana-leaf pattern while posing with her husband against a tropical backdrop.

Another photo showed the couple making faces for the camera, while a final video captured them swimming near a waterfall.

“Quick getaway to the most beautiful place on earth with my favorite guy,” Jessica captioned the upload.

Tarlov and McKenna married in May 2021.

Her temporary absence comes as Donald Trump‘s frustrations with parts of Fox News continue to spill into public view.

Although many of the network’s biggest hosts are supportive of Trump and regularly feature members of his administration, the president has not hesitated to go after Fox personalities who challenge him or promote Democratic talking points.

He has also repeatedly complained about Fox polling and commentary he views as unfair to his administration.

Tarlov, who serves as one of the show’s rotating liberal voices, has made a career out of sparring with the conservative majority on “The Five.”

That role has made her a frequent lightning rod among MAGA viewers and, increasingly, the president himself.

Still, there is no indication that Tarlov is leaving Fox News permanently.

For now, she appears to have simply traded the studio lights for a Hawaiian waterfall while the political fireworks continued without her.
