Maria Bartiromo has finally broken her silence one week after Fox News announced it was parting ways with the longtime anchor.
Bartiromo, 58, resurfaced Thursday with a message thanking supporters and teasing what comes next following her abrupt exit from the network after more than 12 years.
“Before too much time passes, I want to thank all of my friends, followers, and supporters for all of the kind words. I am so grateful for the outpouring of love this past week. I love you all and I promise to be back soon w my next moves,” she wrote in an Instagram post Thursday.
She signed off the post with “Sending love from @Dustybsteinberg & me,” referring to her dog, Dusty.
Bartiromo also included several photos in the post, including pictures of sunsets, flowers and her dog.
She shared a similar message on X, again thanking supporters while signaling that more news could be coming soon.
“Thank you to all friends & followers for your amazing words I am so grateful for the outpouring of love. I love you all. here’s a great shot of the 🌈 breaking through, I snapped the other day. More to come.”
The post quickly drew reactions from figures across conservative media.
Fox News personalities Lara Trump and Martha MacCallum were among those who liked the Instagram post, while Newsmax anchor Katrina Szish responded with star emojis and Newsmax contributor Deneen Borelli posted heart emojis.

Breitbart also responded with three American flag emojis.
Bartiromo’s comments came exactly one week after Fox News Media publicly announced that her run at the network had ended.
“Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media” the network said in its announcement.
Fox also thanked Bartiromo for her 12 1/2 years with the company and immediately began overhauling the programs she had hosted.
Her attorney, Bryan Freedman, however, has pushed back aggressively against reports characterizing her departure as a firing.
“The irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false,” he wrote in a statement.
Freedman also suggested that evidence could emerge as the dispute continues.
“Make no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses, and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise.”
He added, “Those reporting her firing or the incredulous facts supporting that fiction have exhibited a complete and utter reckless disregard for the truth.”
Fox, meanwhile, has publicly stood by its announcement that Bartiromo is no longer with Fox News Media.
Her departure followed a mysterious absence from the air that lasted several weeks.
Reports from Status and Mediaite have alleged that tensions inside Fox escalated over editorial disagreements and Bartiromo’s handling of internal network guidance involving coverage of President Donald Trump.
Those reports have been disputed by Bartiromo’s attorney, and Fox has not publicly detailed the specific circumstances that led to the split.
The network moved quickly after announcing her departure.
“Mornings with Maria” was rebranded as “Mornings with FOX Business,” while “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street” became “FBN’s Wall Street.”
Her longtime Sunday program, “Sunday Morning Futures,” was also placed in the hands of temporary hosts while Fox searches for a permanent replacement.
The sudden exit stunned Donald Trump, who had frequently appeared with Bartiromo and publicly praised her work.
“I can’t believe Maria Bartiromo is no longer going to have her great show(s) on Fox News/Business,” he posted. “Three different shows, always number one. Maria is a total professional, and a true warrior. Her fans, of whom there are many, will not be happy. God bless you, Maria!”
Trump adviser Peter Navarro has also publicly defended Bartiromo and criticized Fox over her departure.
Navarro wrote that without Bartiromo, “What is left at Fox is a lineup of chickens, nobody willing to stick a neck out the way Ms. Bartiromo did.”
Bartiromo herself avoided addressing the dispute directly in her first public comments.
Instead, she focused on thanking supporters and made clear that she does not intend to disappear from public view.
Her promise to return with her “next moves” now leaves one major question hanging over the veteran financial journalist’s sudden Fox exit: where she plans to land next.
