Los Angeles citizens are fighting back against failed leadership by setting up fake homeless encampments directly outside the home of City Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Nithya Raman.
“This is happening all over the city, and we brought it to her doorstep so she can see what other people are going through,” said one organizer.
A masked man who helped organize the stunt told Fox 11: “All the political violence that has been going on, it’s really important that people protect their identities.”
The setup included tents, trash, old tires, and a barbecue right outside her residence.
“We’re basically doing a parody ad for her. Like, if we were in charge of her campaign, this was the ad that we would make,” the organizer explained. “They feel like this draws the line… a public street… you can about everybody else who has gone through the same thing constantly being ignored.”
Raman had previously stated she doesn’t care about homeless encampments near schools or daycares. Now residents are giving her a direct taste of the chaos her policies have unleashed across the city.
