PHOTO: Blue State Poll Worker Appears To Mock Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

A photograph submitted to Alpha News and shared publicly by senior reporter Liz Collin on Tuesday appears to show a woman seated at a table inside the Rogers fire station community room wearing a white T-shirt printed with the words “Problem Solved” and marked by red splatters near the collar and down the front that resemble blood. The shirt appeared to be similar to the white “Freedom” t-shirt worn by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk when he was assassinated last September.

The image, said to have been taken on Saturday, depicts the individual working at a table equipped with a laptop, barcode scanner and other materials consistent with election operations. Alpha News identified the location as a polling place in Rogers, Minnesota, within Hennepin County.

Similar “Problem Solved” shirts featuring red staining were worn by math teachers in Arizona’s Vail School District as Halloween costumes in both 2024 and 2025. Following the September 2025 assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, who was shot in the neck, some observers speculated that the design referenced the incident.

POLL: Should Trump’s DOJ Prosecute Jack Smith?

District officials stated at the time that the shirts were purchased in 2024 as part of a math-themed costume intended to represent solving difficult math problems and were not meant to reference any person or event. Collin’s post noted speculation that the design celebrates the assassination of Charlie Kirk or other assassinations, while observing that the Halloween design has been controversial for years.

Alpha News reported that it contacted Hennepin County regarding the photograph. The county confirmed that it forwarded the concern to the city clerk in Rogers for review.

“Hennepin County expects polling places to be welcoming and free from intimidation, harassment, or disruption for voters and election workers alike… Anyone with concerns about conduct at a polling place should bring them to the attention of the head election judge or city clerk’s office,” the county stated in its response. The county further noted that it had forwarded the specific concern to the Rogers city clerk.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no determination has been publicly announced regarding whether the attire violated any rule or whether any action was taken by local election officials. The matter is under review by municipal authorities in Rogers following the referral from Hennepin County.
