President Donald Trump’s closely watched summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping spiraled into chaos behind the scenes this week after a White House staffer was reportedly knocked to the ground and trampled during a wild media stampede inside a Beijing meeting hall.
The ugly scene unfolded as Chinese reporters rushed toward Trump and Xi during a bilateral event tied to the president’s high-stakes visit to China.
