Secret Service Responds To Major Threat Against Barron Trump

The Secret Service has responded to a disturbing state media segment in which the Iranian regime placed a bounty on Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring announced Tuesday. “Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence,” he added.

The nearly three-minute video was aired over the weekend by Iranian broadcaster IRIB, a state media outlet aligned with hardliners whose head is appointed by Iran’s supreme leader. It was also reportedly aired on the IRGC-linked Channel 3.

It opens with an English-language graphic reading “Where to kill Barron Trump?!” or “Where to Kill Barron Trump.” The segment labels the 20-year-old a “target” and features stylized graphics depicting locations where he is publicly known to spend time, including Trump Tower in New York and a Washington address tied to New York University, specifically references to dormitories at NYU’s Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center.

Multiple outlets, including The Jerusalem Post and The New York Post, noted that they could not independently locate the original video on Channel 3’s official platforms or verify the surveillance claims, account details, or the reported bounty. The U.S. Secret Service has stated it is aware of the material and investigates threats against those under its protection

This marks the first time Barron Trump has been publicly singled out in this manner, though Iranian media have previously targeted First Lady Melania Trump with similar content, including a video titled “Where to Kill Melania?” that ended with a reference to Barron. While speaking with CNN, a federal law enforcement source described the latest video as part of a broader campaign of content from Iran targeting President Trump and his family, some of which has included movement details and suggestions directed at family members.
