During Thursday’s White House address, President Donald Trump indicated that the Department of Homeland Security has identified that 278,000 non-citizens are currently registered to vote in U.S. federal elections.
The revelation came after Trump stated that the White House will, starting tonight, be unleashing hundreds of documents outline significant Chinese influence on U.S. elections, efforts from members of U.S. intelligence agencies and the Obama Administration to cover it up, and extensive pay-for-play get out the vote operations that benefitted Democrats in 2020.
“According to the DHS review of state voter rolls and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections,” the president said, adding that the actual total is much higher. “Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that. Yet, even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote.”
For reference, former President Joe Biden’s margin of victory in the key swing states of Wisconsin, Georgia and Arizona was just 44,000 in 2020.

Elsewhere in the speech, the president confirmed that Chinese election meddling efforts were deliberately designed to aid the Biden campaign and derail the Trump presidency by any means necessary.
“The Chinese Communist Party didn’t just hack our systems — they stole voter data from 220 million Americans. This was the largest data breach in history, and it was deliberately covered up by deep state actors in the previous administration. They used this information to target and influence the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden,” Trump revealed.
“Intelligence shows China actively worked to aid the Biden campaign. They interfered through cyberattacks, data manipulation, and influence operations. This wasn’t passive — it was a coordinated effort to swing the election against me and the American people,” he added.
“We have now declassified documents proving that China, along with others, had the capability and intent to sabotage our elections. The Biden administration knew about these vulnerabilities and did nothing — because it benefited them.”
The Chinese government even went so far as to attempt to manufacture fraudulent ballots in favor of the Biden Campaign, Trump revealed. Despite clear intelligence indicating as much, the extent of Chinese election meddling was deliberately kept out of presidential briefings during the president’s first term in office.

Trump stated that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin will be providing a briefing on the investigation tomorrow. In addition, the first trove of documents has been released on WhiteHouse.gov.
