VIDEO: DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Says Up to 100,000 Afghans Admitted Under Biden Now Under Review

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has stated that as many as 100,000 Afghans who entered the United States during the Biden administration are now being reexamined as part of a broad security review.

According to Noem, the individuals in question arrived under programs launched during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. She said the reassessment is intended to identify any potential security risks.

“We could have up to 100,000 people that came in from Afghanistan that may be here to do us harm — and President Trump is absolutely dedicated to getting them out,” Noem said.

She also criticized the previous administration’s vetting process, saying the Biden team “was allowing our country to be infiltrated with people that we didn’t know who they were.”

The Department of Homeland Security has not released further public details about the timeline or specific criteria of the review. Officials say the process will continue in coordination with federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
