Rep. Jasmine Crockett is drawing attention after urging President Trump to focus on deporting what she described as “white supremacists” rather than third-world migrants or individuals linked to terrorism concerns.
In her comments, Crockett argued that domestic extremism poses a greater threat, stating, “Let’s talk about the white supremacists and how many of THEM need to be kicked out of this country. I can guarantee you, I can track down more crimes they’ve committed.”
She also claimed that immigrants “have a lower crime committal rate than white supremacists,” adding that the topic is often avoided in national discussions about security and immigration.
Crockett’s remarks come as the Trump administration continues to tighten immigration policies and expand removals of migrants from high-risk regions. Critics say Crockett’s comments downplay the risks associated with illegal immigration, while her supporters argue she is highlighting the threat of homegrown extremism.
