VIDEO: Top Trump Border Official Says ICE Agent Is “In Hiding” After Minneapolis Incident

WASHINGTON — White House Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed Tuesday that an ICE agent involved in a deadly confrontation in Minneapolis has gone into hiding for his safety after facing violent threats and doxing campaigns from critics.

Homan spoke on Will Cain Country, saying the agent — whose identity has been linked publicly through media reporting — has received **“wanted” posters with his picture and license plate, along with death threats against him and his family.

The agent was at the center of a high-profile incident in Minneapolis earlier this month in which he shot and killed a woman during an ICE operation — a confrontation that has drawn sharp and polarized national reactions. Protesters and activists have condemned the shooting and called for accountability, while administration officials have defended the officer’s conduct as self-defense in a dangerous situation.

In his remarks, Homan framed the threats against the agent as symptomatic of the violent rhetoric from the political left, asserting that federal law-enforcement personnel should be able to do their jobs without fear of intimidation or retaliation.

The Trump administration continues to maintain that its immigration enforcement efforts — including those by ICE — are aimed at protecting Americans and upholding the rule of law, even amid intense protests and conflicting local accounts of the Minneapolis episode.
